From the modest fishermen's village to the world-famous seaside and cultural city, Cannes forged a unique history that today attracts visitors from around the world. Cannes faces a dreamy bay bordered by the Lérins islands, an ideal setting and climate to launch your cycling season and discover this magnificent region with your family.

La Croisette

The islands of Lerin

Off the coast of Cannes, the two islands of Lerins offer a haven of peace and greenery just a few minutes by boat from the coast. You can enjoy seafood while watching the sea from a panoramic terrace.

Le Cape of Antibes

The second largest city in the department, Antibes is located on a superb site, with its ramparts facing the sea, a fabulous marina and an old town with winding streets. Founded in the 4th century by the Greeks, Antibes was very popular with artists during the last century: Ernst, Prévert, Picasso among others.

Grasse

Village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence

Since the 1950s, the village has been transformed into a real movie set. Here, the greatest stars of the 7th Art met, attracted to the French Riviera by the Victorine studios in Nice and the Cannes Film Festival.

Gorges du Verdon

The Gorges du Verdon are the most impressive in Europe. They form a kind of natural border between the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and the Var, a deep cut of 21 km long in the earth. There, the Verdon river flows sometimes ferociously. A must for rafting, kayaking, hydrospeed and canyoning enthusiasts.
